The Orchid

My orchid photo and my painting of it.
Looking Up

A collage using scrap paper and an old, ink-imperfect photo of me.
Twilight

Music & Art = Life

Collage on the cover of my note book.
New album: The Night Will Pass

I did it! Went all out and got the new album I recorded copied with a full color lyrics booklet included. I always wanted to have my own music in a physical format like this. I have extra copies if anyone wants me to mail one (the first ones have a few typos in the booklets but I wrote in by hand the most glaring issues…lol) but anyway here’s a digital link to the whole thing too for free download if anyone cares:
First Portrait Series
All in order from top left to the right across, the last being a self portrait (the center one is my mother back in the day). I started this back in the summer and finished last week, finally. I don’t want it to be said that all I did was abstract art. Now that’s put to rest. Prints are up as well at my zazzle shop Among the Ashes. If I had enough money I’d open a real poster shop. I’ll keep dreaming.
My New Album

This I hope will be the last collection of boring acoustic piano pieces. I need variety and will try to make the next set a real difference from prior work. Time to experiment.
What matters most…

I would get this tattooed on my back if I had the guts…
Shades of Shadow

I finally finished my second song collection. The painting above is the cover image. It’s the work itself I live for. This could suck to everyone else, but even so, this all accounts for my time here not being a complete waste. We all need something to live for. I’m already working on #3 with an aim to get the music & timing just right for each song. Trying to get things perfect drives me nuts but I can’t help myself…lol
